Cruise through Greece and the Mediterranean

Spring is closer than we think, meaning the Mediterranean will ‘spring’ back to life again. Excuse the pun…

So, while we might be getting ready for the Holiday season, now also might be a good time to start planning a cruise. And in this blog piece, we want to highlight three cruises that take in some of the best parts of the Mediterranean. And, here is a hint: they all include Greece.

First, we have the Greek Isles Round Trip, which is 11-days long and offered by Norwegian Cruise Lines. On this cruise, you will start in Trieste before going to Venice then make your way down the Adriatic Coast Split and Corfu, before making your way to Mykonos and Santorini and finally returning to Trieste. Norwegian is also offering a great promotion at the moment — 40% off cruises if you book today!

The second cruise we would like to share with you is 13-days long, is from Windstar Cruises, and is the Crossroads of Empires Cruise. Here you will start in Istanbul, Turkey aboard the ship Star Pride then move to Çanakkale where the ancient ruins of Troy can be found relatively nearby. From there you go to Mykonos, return to Bodrum in Turkey and then head to Rhodes for two days before going to Santorini from where you will return to Istanbul. This cruise is filled with sites that saw Alexander the Great, World War II (Gallipoli, for example near Çanakkale), the Persians, and the Greeks, among many others. As the tour says, it is the Crossroads of the Empires.

The final cruise we want to mention is the Greek Isles and Turkish Riviere Cruise by Seaborn. This is a 22-day Journey that not only goes through the previously mentioned Greek and Turkish sites from the previously mentioned tour (including Santorni and Mykonos), but will also bring you to Haifa in Israel as well as Cyprus — where you can visit Paphos and Limassol. Other locations include Antalya and Marmaris in Turkey where you can see Hadrian’s Gate and Butterfly Bay, respectively. Greek locations that are special to this tour listing are the capital city of Athens and the Island of Patmos which is a famous location for Christians. This cruise also offers another great promotion of 15% off all Seaborn Voyages

booked before December 5th.

In general, these cruises offer a great chance to see some of the best parts of the Mediterranean and with two of them offering great promotions at the moment, booking a reservation makes sense. It is still early enough o get ready to travel for spring after all!
