The Chateau Blanc is a certified member property of the exclusive Hamsa travel brand. They are a private, family-owned kosher-run bed and breakfast in Havana, Cuba.
Located in the Nuevo Vedado neighborhood, next to the Forest of Havana, the Almendares River, and only a few minutes from downtown Havana, this area is filled with artists, celebrities, embassies and consulates, and classic architecture. Nuevo Vedado is a perfect place to be centered given its quiet charm and proximity to the must-sees in Havana.
Among those must-sees are the Partagas Fabrica de Tobacos Cigar Factory, Finca Vigia a.k.a Hemingways House, the massive art installation Fusterlandia, the Museum of Revolution, the San Carlos Fortress, Almendares Park along the river, the Art Factory where there is a combination of art, music, dance, and theater. For more art, you can also go to Almacenes de San Jose Art Market where you can find paintings, sculptures, and more for sale. Finally, at the end of the day, a trip to the Havana Club Rum Museum should be a nice way to relax.
Four super comfortable rooms are available for booking, the Master Suite with a king and queen-sized bed, the Junior Suite with two queen-sized beds, the Standard Room with a queen and full-sized bed, or the petite room with two twin beds. All rooms have an en suite bathroom, privately controlled A/C, a marble desk, a rain shower head, and an in-room safe.
For common areas and services offered there is a quaint bar with drinks and coffee, flatscreen TVs for entertainment, a fine art collection, library, as well as beauty/wellness/spa services, bicycle rental, and photography and videography services for anyone wanting to record that special moment.
As well, breakfast is served daily, and other dining services are offered upon request — all kosher, by the way. And finally, there is POSH “our private rooftop terrace bar exclusive to Chateau Blanc and our guests. Located on the fourth floor, POSH is an open air bar and lounge featuring live Cuban music, premium spirits, cigars and more. Enjoy the tropical sunset with a cool evening breeze and a refreshing cocktail.”
