Wendy began a career in travel without knowing it when she moved overseas at the age of 11, living in Switzerland and England for 15 years during which time she discovered two main things: the rest of the world was far different from the US and one of the greatest and most leisurely ways to see it was by ship! Her true passions are beautiful sights and unusual places, and to see them before they become spoiled or inaccessible.
Travel is not just for the wealthy, or even the middle class - it's for the curious, the dreamer...the inner child.
Wendy earned a B.A. in English Literature from Denison University in Granville OH, did graduate studies in Speech Communication at UNM, management courses at Anderson School of Management, and has spent her working career in a wide variety of fields: medical, legal, advertising, administration, sales, and of course travel. Volunteer activities have included mainly theatrical makeup, hair and "behind-the-scenes" help, and animal rescue organizations. Wendy@awtravel.com
