Kathleen Ortiz

Kathleen L. Ortiz has been in the travel industry since 1984. Her passion has been European tours and pilgrimages. She is a group travel specialist with 20 years experience escorting and organizing tours within the United States, Western Europe and the Mediterranean.  Several of the tours have been pilgrimages to the shrines of Western Europe.  Travel experience encompasses 30 countries in North, South, and Central America, Western Europe and the Mediterranean.   Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies and a Master of Arts in Latin American Area Studies.  Chosen for Outstanding Young Women of America in 1971, she has also been selected for Who's Who in America, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in the World 1995-2007.  Languages spoken in addition to English are Spanish and French.   Kathleen is a 14^th generation New Mexican.   She has over 90 published newspaper articles including a series on the New Mexico State Constitution.

Additional passions are genealogy, languages, photography, New Mexican history, community festivals and Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta.    Kathleen’s motto is “If it exists we can find it and a way to get you there in style.”
